From most of Salford, the route is simply the Mancunian Way: join the A57(M) near its western end — reached easily from Regent Road or Trinity Way — and follow it east around the southern edge of the city centre, exiting for the A6 (Downing Street). From Eccles, Swinton or Walkden, the M602 brings you to the same starting point in a few extra minutes. All told, most Salford patients are parked within a quarter of an hour of setting off.
