Our Manchester clinic sits just off the A6 — the same road that runs straight out to Stockport. That makes the trip about 20 minutes with no motorway needed, and with same-day slots and free on-site parking, most Stockport patients are examined, treated and heading home within the hour. Home visits cover Stockport and the Heatons too.
Few journeys to our Manchester clinic are simpler than Stockport's: join the A6 Wellington Road at Stockport town centre and follow it north-west through Heaton Chapel, Levenshulme and Longsight. As you approach Ardwick, the clinic at Aldow Enterprise Park sits just off the A6 near the Mancunian Way junction — look for Piccadilly Business Centre, where patient parking is free.
Allow around 20 minutes outside rush hour; from Hazel Grove or Bramhall add ten. If the A6 is crawling, the M60 to the A635 works as a back route. Coming by train, it's a few minutes from Stockport to Piccadilly, then a short taxi or bus hop down the A6.
Appointments are unhurried and thorough. An NHS-trained clinician inspects both ears with a camera or otoscope first, talks you through what they can see, and only then removes wax — using microsuction, water irrigation or manual instruments as your ears require. Most visits take 15–30 minutes.
You'll pay £45 for one ear or £60 for both, after treatment, by cash or card. If your ears turn out to be clear, it's a £20 consultation fee instead. We see children from age 5, and we're open 9am–9pm every day. Book online or ring 0161 399 5268.
Our home visits team covers the whole borough — Cheadle, Bramhall, Hazel Grove, Marple, Reddish and the Heatons. It's £84.99 for both ears with travel included, booked by telephone on 0161 399 5268 so we can plan the route and timing around you.
We look after ears across the borough of Stockport, in clinic and at home.
Pay after treatment, by cash or card. If no wax removal is required, only a £20 consultation fee applies.
Book online for a same-day slot at our Manchester clinic, or call 0161 399 5268 to arrange a home visit anywhere in the borough.
